The wait is over! The successor to one of our most popular speed controllers has finally arrived. The 50063 X3-SERIES is now available, and here's a summary of the improvements that the X3-SERIES brings to the table.

Our team of developers, engineers, and passionate RC modelers have worked tirelessly on this configuration. In addition to conducting hours of testing, we took it a step further. The controller was tested on an industry project within our parent company, MGM COMPRO, ensuring that this controller would be the best you can buy on the market! 

WHAT ARE THE MAIN IMPROVEMENTS?

• Over current behaviour feature - you can set what your ESC does when its amperage limit is reached. You can protect the ESC and set it to "stop immediately", choose to use the ESC at the limit with the "filter" feature, or run continuously at 80% of the current limit with "step-by-step".

• Phase currents monitoring - Phase current, is the current flowing through one phase of a three-phase electrical system. These currents are usually much higher than battery currents and are, in the most cases, responsible for controller failure. By measuring phase currents, we are the only RC brand on the market to do so. This allows you to use the controller at its limit without the risk of failure. The limit for this controller is 750A! 

• More data, faster: With the new USBCOM6i and CC_12 PC application interfaces, you can transfer the data from the ESC much quicker. The ESC now stores up to 12.5 hours of data with an unlimited number of individual data logs. 

• Industry standard cables - The controller is supplied with crimped cables on ring terminals. Crimping provides a stronger, more reliable heat-resistant, and vibration-resistant connection than soldering. It also allows you to change cables in seconds.

We sent the controller to Jason Joseph over at KilowWattRC for testing. Jason is a long-time user of our controllers and was always keen to provide us with his feedback. So it was only right that we sent him the ESC for testing to get his feedback. He has spent countless hours testing this ESC for us, providing us with the data from each run, and has helped us tune this ESC to make it the best MGM ESC yet! MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN!

As you may know, our ESCs work best with LMT motors. These motors are made in Germany and our companies have worked closely together for many years. Their motors are the most powerful RC systems on the market, so they are a perfect match for our ESCs. They are made without a sensor, so we have started to implement encoders on these motors to achieve a sensored performance. Combo comes pre-configured with soldered connectors and PC cables.
